And in 97 countries later this June, the Samsung service, which was unveiled at this year’s Bespoke Home 2022 event, will launch in 97 countries.
The service represents a new addition to the SmartThings app, which enables centralized and integrated control of Samsung home appliances, ensuring the convenience of six services within the SmartThings app, namely (smart cooking, power, clothing care, pet care, weather care and Home Care). SmartThings Home Life improves the quality of your home life and helps you control its various functions, all from your smartphone. And when using the SmartThings app, you just have to click on the “Life” section to go to SmartThings Home to enter a new level of home connection. With 270 partners worldwide and the ability to integrate with thousands of devices, this app currently has nearly a quarter of a billion registered users. What’s more, Samsung’s updated Family Hub, which will be available in July, will further enhance the home experience, with more new AI features that bring convenience to your daily routine.

Offering smarter, smoother experiences, SmartThings Home Life integrates the following six SmartThings services.
It is a cooking service capable of doing everything from searching for recipes, using automatic controllers, to managing shopping lists and keeping food. Powered by the Food AI app developed by Whisk, SmartThings Cooking can offer personalized recipes and meal plans based on users’ tastes, nutritional needs and availability. Whether users thaw frozen meat using a barcode, or buy for their home needs through the Whisk network, this platform can communicate directly with all Samsung kitchen smart devices, such as Family Hub, ovens and other appliances for an experience trouble-free cooking.
Supporting almost all products in the kitchen, living room and laundry, this service enables users to control their energy consumption by providing real-time information on where and how energy is used in-house. Relying on the power analysis feature used by devices connected to the SmartThings platform, the service reports power usage on a monthly basis and predicts future power consumption using artificial intelligence software. And thanks to the AI savings theme, the same service automatically activates the power saving feature on connected home appliances, helping to reduce carbon consumption and emissions. The new Bespoke AI washing machine will soon be added to the range of appliances in service in the second half of this year, before expanding to include more connected appliances essential to your home. The Zero Energy Home pilot project from Samsung, which was developed in collaboration with Q-CELLS, is designed to make homes capable of achieving energy self-sufficiency. In the near future, the Zero Energy Home system will be installed in 30 homes within the Ethiopia Project currently under implementation. The program will be expanded to install the system in more homes, combining the power of SmartThings Energy solutions with solar panels and Q-CELLS energy storage systems.
SmartThings wardrobe care
This service connects all the laundry equipment in your home, such as the Bespoke dryer, Bespoke AirDresser and Bespoke ShoeDresser with all AI washing machines to provide optimal clothing management, with services tailored to suit your lifestyle . The service offers personalized care options based on your clothing materials. Not only that, but the service itself offers applicable AI-led recommendations based on usage patterns and current season, reminding you to regularly buy laundry equipment to keep your clothes fresh and booking supplies for the laundry room.
SmartThings pet care
This service makes pet owners happy, as it enables them to take care of them even when they are out of the house. And when the pet is alone at home, the service will automatically play music or TV shows, to give it a sense of security and the presence of companions with it. You can also monitor your pets remotely with access to the Bespoke Jet Bot AI + mounted smart camera. By adjusting settings in appliances such as lights, air conditioners, air purifiers, etc., you can make your home more comfortable and safer for your pet if you move away from them.
SmartThings Air Care

SmartThings Home Care

It also sends direct user notifications for regular maintenance based on usage data, such as cleaning each device and replacing some components. With it, you can solve home appliance problems independently, without relying on a technician for simple tasks.
Since the launch of this service in 2016, it has been constantly updated to provide the latest related experiences to users of Samsung refrigerators, turning them into call centers and entertainment in the kitchen. The service itself serves as a home control via the SmartThings app. The latest service update was launched in July, upgraded with new features to offer more entertainment options, smart features and kitchen connections. For example, the Reorders feature helps consumers easily order and replace water filters and enjoy cooking. The Samsung TV Plus app lets them watch a variety of live TV programs, including news, music, baby channels and food . On the other hand, the Atelier feature allows them to decorate their kitchen and refrigerator screens with stunning artwork, while the Dual AI Voice Assistant feature helps them access Alexa from Amazon and Bixby from Samsung through a single device.
