The Higher Education Council approves the introduction of new directions in universities

Approval of the establishment of (33) directions in the bachelor program, (3) directions in the higher degree program, (23) directions in the master program and (2) two directions in the doctoral program.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the Council of Higher Education decided in the last session to approve the creation of a series of new specializations and study programs at the bachelor, bachelor, master and doctoral levels, which meet the needs of the local market. regional and international work, in addition to a range of professional specializations and applied to Jordanian public and private universities and colleges, starting from the beginning of the next academic year 2022-2023, provided that they are specially approved by the Higher Education. Education Accreditation Commission and ensure their quality before starting teaching in them.
Below is a list of programs and specializations that have been developed, divided by universities and university colleges:
1) University of Jordan: Approval of the establishment of a bachelor program in the field of law / Aqaba branch, a master’s degree in pharmaceutical business administration and a master’s degree in clinical endodontics.
2) Yarmouk University: Approval of the introduction of a bachelor program in Nursing, a bachelor program in applied English and a master program in digital marketing.
3) Mu’tah University: Approve the development of a bachelor program in financial technology and risk management, and a bachelor program in applied English.
4) Jordan University of Science and Technology: Approve the development of a bachelor program in data science, a bachelor program in artificial intelligence, and a master program in medical and biological ethics.
5) Hashemite University: Approval of the establishment of a master program in sports management, a master program in electrical engineering and a master program in intelligent and secure computer systems engineering.
6) Al-Balqa Applied University: Approve the introduction of a bachelor program in renewable energy engineering at Al-Hosn University College.
7) Al-Hussein Bin Talal University: Approval of the establishment of a master program in accounting.
8) Tafila Technical University: Approval of the establishment of a master program in economics and digital finance and a master program in applied mathematics.
9) German Jordanian University: Approving the development of a bachelor program in business intelligence and data analysis, a bachelor program in design and information media, a bachelor program in Health Informatics and a doctoral program in German for non-native speakers .
10) Al-Ahliyya Amman Private University: Approval of the development of a bachelor program in physical therapy, a master’s degree program in legal accounting and a master program in civil engineering.
11) Private University of Applied Sciences: Approve the development of a bachelor program in data science and artificial intelligence, and a master program in interior design.
12) Private University of Philadelphia: Approve the creation of a bachelor program in electronic marketing and social communication, and a bachelor program in data science and artificial intelligence.
13) University of Petra: Approval of the development of a bachelor program in digital film design technology, a bachelor program in virtual reality and a master program in chemistry.
14) Al-Zaytoonah Private University of Jordan: Approve the development of a bachelor program in sustainable energy engineering, a bachelor program in digital marketing and a bachelor program in electrical engineering / intelligent systems and communication engineering.
15) Jerash University: Approval of the development of the bachelor program in the field of medical laboratory sciences, and the master program in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
16) Middle East University: Approve the development of a bachelor program in physical therapy, a bachelor program in software engineering and a bachelor program in cyber security.
17) National Irbid University: Approve the establishment of a master program in business intelligence and data analysis.
18) Zarqa University: Approval of the establishment of a master’s degree program in library and information science, a master’s program in digital media and a master’s program in medical laboratory sciences.
19) Arab University of Amman: Approval of the introduction of a bachelor program in avionics, and a master program in applied linguistics.
20) Jadara University: Approval of the establishment of a master’s degree program in criminal sciences.
21) Princess Sumaya University of Technology: Approve the establishment of a master program in financial technology and analytical accounting, and a master program in supply chain management and logistics technology.
22) American University of Madaba: Approve the development of a bachelor program in cyber security, and a master program in business administration and analysis.
23) Aqaba University of Technology: Approval of the introduction of a bachelor program in graphic design, a bachelor program in digital media and a bachelor program in law.
24) International University of Islamic Sciences: Approval of the development of a bachelor program in the field of money jurisprudence, a bachelor program in the field of vocal performance and intonation, a master program in history and a doctoral program in Hanafi jurisprudence. specialization.
25) Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College: Approval of the establishment of a master’s program in business administration in digital marketing.
26) National University College of Technology: Approve the introduction of a bachelor program specializing in digital marketing and social communication.
27) Luminus University College: Approve the establishment of a bachelor program in data science and artificial intelligence.
28) Al-Khwarizmi University College: Approval of the establishment of a bachelor program in the field of cyber security.
