Samsung’s portfolio for 2022 has been developed around the company’s motto and vision “Screens everywhere, screens for everyone”, with home TVs as part of users’ daily routine. In line with this vision, Samsung has created devices that can be seamlessly connected to each other, for easy personalization and to provide a display with specifications suitable for any lifestyle. Televisions and monitors were traditionally connected only to viewing, but the Neo QLED 8K aims to change that by enhancing the user experience.

Neo QLED 8K: Better gets better

The Neo QLED 8K 2022 has been modified to take the TV experience to the next level, with the Quantum 8K processor. The latest processor includes 20 independent AI networks, each of which analyzes content features and image quality for an optimal display, regardless of source.

The Neural Quantum 8K processor supports a new technological innovation, the True Depth Enhancer that clears the screen and enhances the contrast against the background, optimizing the look while keeping the background raw. It works similarly to how the human eye perceives images in real life, so that the object on the screen stands out from the background.

The processor, along with the powerful Quantum Mini LED, creates precise and controlled lighting so that bright areas stay bright and dark surroundings remain dark – a feature called “Shape Adjustable Light Control” . For example, the full moon will still be bright against a black night sky.

Samsung’s all-new QLED 2022 monitor has received the world’s first color accuracy certificate from Pantone Validated, the global owner of color space across the industry and the creator of the Pantone Matching System (PMS) – which means the monitor reproduces more than 2000 colors plus 110 skin tones have been recently added and mentioned in the Pantone Instructions. Plus, these gorgeous colors are comfortable to look at with the new EyeComfort mode. The feature uses AI technology to automatically adjust screen brightness and color temperature based on how light or darkness enters the room, knowing when sunset / sunrise will enhance your viewing experience for added convenience.

Dolby Atmos Audio with intelligent features

Televisions and monitors need powerful and accurate sound that matches rich colors and sharp details in order to truly immerse yourself in an extraordinary viewing experience. The artificial intelligence of the 8K quantum neural processor analyzes what is on the screen in real time, so that Adaptive Sound features can track and switch between speakers to accurately match screen movement.

In the flagship model QN900B of Neo QLED 8K, all the sound comes from a 6.2.4 channel 90 W audio system, which features new upper channel amplifiers and Dolby Atmos with Object Tracking Sound Pro audio. This technology has also been applied to voice recognition using voice tracking, where sound effects and sounds track the actual movement on the screen.

Samsung is also bringing Dolby Atmos wireless technology to its Neo QLED 4K and 8K TVs – which means clear sound quality without the hassle of HDMI cables. The Dolby Atmos Wireless will also be applied to the new Samsung 2022 ultra-thin sound bar, created for a comprehensive audio experience and an aesthetically pleasing view with minimal effort and smooth operation.
