Emirates Airlines has added an additional fuel tariff to airline tickets to counter rising oil prices due to the war in Ukraine

The head of Emirates Airlines announced that the company will continue to operate its flights to Russia if the Dubai government, which owns it, does not inform it to suspend its flights to Russia.

Sir Tim Clark told the BBC: “If we are told to stop, we will do it, and as long as we are not notified otherwise, we will continue.”

Most major international airlines have suspended their operations in Russia, in light of the imposition of comprehensive sanctions imposed by Western countries since the outbreak of war in Ukraine.

However, Emirates Airlines is one of the few airlines that continues to operate flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
