Emirates Airlines resumes service in 5 African countries

Emirates Airlines has announced the resumption of passenger operations between Dubai and five African countries, starting on January 29, which will provide customers with more options, higher value and improve connectivity to and from Dubai and through it.

Extensive resumption of services includes Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Nairobi (Kenya), Harare (Zimbabwe), as well as the three ports of the Emirates in South Africa, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

Emirates customers traveling from African destinations will be able to safely continue their flights via Dubai to various airline destinations in Europe, the Middle East, America, West Asia and Australia.

South Africa: The service between Dubai and South Africa will operate from January 29 with one day flight to and from Johannesburg, and double on two daily flights from February 1. Flights to and from Cape Town and Durban will also operate daily from 1 February.

o Flight Emirates EK 761 departs from Dubai at 4:40 am, arriving in Johannesburg at 10:55 am. The return flight, EK 762, departs from Johannesburg at 13:25 and arrives in Dubai at 23:45. Kenya: Emirates will operate 10 flights a week to Nairobi, starting January 29th. Flight EK 719/720 will operate on Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, departing from Dubai at 9:35 am and arriving in Nairobi at 13:45, departing from Nairobi at 3: 30pm and landing in Dubai at 9:30 p.m. at night. Flight EK 721/722 will operate on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, departing from Dubai at 2:10 am and arriving in Nairobi at 6:20 am . zimbabweEmirates Airlines will operate six flights a week to Harare, via Lusaka, from January 30th. Flight EK 713 departs from Dubai at 9:20 am, stops in Lusaka and arrives in Harare at 5:00 pm. Flight EK 714 departs from Harare at 18:45, stops in Lusaka and continues to Dubai, arriving at 6:25 the next morning.
